Earthquake Information
According to Japanese authorities, the Iwate-Miyagi inland earthquake of June 14 did not result in the death or injury of American Citizens.
The U.S. Embassy recommends that Americans worried about their friends or loved ones should send them an email, asking that they contact their family in the United States as soon as possible. If you have information about any Americans who may be missing, please send an email to TokyoACS@state.gov with as much information as possible, including,
but not limited to, the name, date of birth, and last known whereabouts in Japan.
